Beginners Ganache, Marzipan, Piping & Icing Class (1 Day)
This one day beginners basics is a super class for those wanting a introduction to cake decorating and how to learn creating those super sharp edges on a ganached and a marzipaned cake.
We will level and fill a 6" sponge cake, cover with white chocolate ganache using the amazing PROFROSTER tool and ganaching plates, then ice with sugar paste and create a sharp edged finish. I will then also show you how to marzipan a 6” fruitcake to achieve sharp edged finish (ready for you to cover at home as they require overnight to set).
Finally we will work on some basic stencilling & piping techniques and simple sugar flowers decoration.
All cakes and equipment will be provided by ourselves.

There would be a limited number of students per class. You will be spaced apart, face masks are to be worn, a hand washing area and sanitisers are available. All students are to advise before they attend if they are feeling unwell/have a temperature and therefore not attend the class. Each student will have their own set of equipment to use in class. Drinks and lunch are provided (sandwiches/snacks) however there are kettle/fridge facilities and a microwave should you wish to bring your own food.
